The TEAM ECOCONSTRUCTION project partners NEOPOLIS/CCI DROME(FR), ENERGIEINSTITUT of VORARLBERG (AT), Cluster Eco-construction (BE), PFE Coria (ES), EAV (LV), Chamber of Commerce of Versailles (FR) and SMALA (CH) have met from the 22nd to the 26th of November 2010 for the 5th transnational meeting in MOUSCRON in BELGIUM.

Pilot course “Energy Efficient Renovation with Use Of Eco-construction Methods” was held at Ergli Vocational School (Latvia), April 26th to 30th, 2010.  

During the course five days training program participants obtained theoretical knowledge about the importance of energy efficiency, low energy buildings, thermal bridges, thermal insulation and eco-building materials, installation of window and quality control on the site.
There was demonstration of blower-door test and straw building practice.
Task of the practical part was renovation of the brick wall fragment with eco construction techniques.

Pilot course “Energy Efficient Renovation with Use Of Eco-construction Methods” was held at Ergli Vocational School (Latvia), April 26th to 30th, 2010.

The author of technical drawings is certified passive house designer Ervin Krauklis. The result was a demonstration wall with specially designed window and a 40 cm thick wall insulation, which fill with the various ecological insulation materials.

Formation Pilote “Rénovation énergétique du bâti en utilisant des matériaux et méthodes lies à l’Eco-construction Methods” was held at Ergli Vocational School (Latvia), April 26th to 30th, 2010.


At the end of course the students were evaluated by a pilot exam. More information : www.ergliarods.lv

EUROPEAN NETWORK OF RESOURCES CENTRE DEDICATED TO ECO CONSTRUCTION 

The network will be integrated with Nymphea network (www.nymphea.org).

The main objectives are::

- Promote the Eco-construction in Europe
- Best practices exchanges
- Access to European information (eg:certification of materials.)
- Knowledge of the specific training in Ecoconstruction in Europe
- Promote the local initiatives at European level

Team Ecoconstruction Online Platform

The online platform has been developed on Moodle tool. It’s a dynamic self learning tool which is the most popular all over the world. Moodle is based on a General Public Licence (GPL), compatible with all systems (Windows, UNIX, MAC, etc).
During the project an Ecoconstruction course was created. It’s composed of 3 modules: Reading plans, thermal principles and insulation ecological materials.

DIFFUSION

The TEAM ECOCONSTRUCTION PARTNERSHIP has organized two diffusion seminars

- OPEN DAYS in Brussels the 5th of October 2010 : Anne-Marie CHARRAUD, European expert in certification presented our methodology to create in each country a new certification about Ecoconstruction. More than fifty people were presents,
mainly European and Regional politicians and technicians.

- “Energie et Habitat” fair in NAMUR (Belgium), we organised a presentation of the project and the results : training (benchmark description), resources centres (chart, application form) and E.Learning training modules.
