Second transnational meeting in CORIA in Spain
The partners of the project TEAM ECOCONSTRUCTION - NEOPOLIS/CCI DROME(FR), ENERGIEINSTITUT of VORARLBERG (AT), Cluster Eco-construction (BE), PFE Coria (ES), EAV (LV) – met second transnational meeting in CORIA in Spain.

Meeting place: the ‘Carcel Real’ that is to say the ‘royal jail’, we can see Jean-Marie DELAYE from the Eco-construction Cluster in Belgium pretending to be the prisoner
The ‘associated’ partners are organisations that joined the project but cannot benefit from the European funds in the frame of the Leonardo Da Vinci programme.
The Training Institute of the Versailles Chamber of Commerce and Industry, dedicated to the building sector , it aims at developing a new training offer. Today this institute counts between 500 and 800 apprentices.
SMALA Association ….
Contribute to the development of a sustainable organisation in neighbourhoods, to live together in a sensible way: this is the aim of the Smala association which was created in 1997. The team is composed of experts in charge of the engineering of social and environmental projects; they work along with public authorities and social networks. Smala is part of worldwide network of eco-villages and part of the international network for Social Economy.
Smala is an incubator for socio-cultural projects and it manages a resource centre for the eco-habitat.

SINCE THE FIRST SEMINAR :
The partners have split the building activity into various activity components:
- Envelope and finitions :
- Insulation and tightness
- Integration of equipements
- Energy, sustainable development and organisation of the building site
Each activity component is split into skills that the partners have shared in order to work at the job benchmarking.
The Professional profile which was set is an eco-building technician capable of building an energy efficient envelope.
Each skill (linked to the activity) was defined as follows:
- Performance level,
- Know-how
- Knowledge
- Social skill
- Evaluation modalities
- Evaluation criteria
The work done during the seminar in Spain organised the work into certification units, starting from 8 activities and 20 skills.
CERTIFICATION UNIT N° 1
Organise the building site and the schedule in compliance with the sustainable development principles
CERTIFICATION UNIT N° 2
Work at the envelope and the finitions using environmental friendly materials
CERTIFICATION UNIT N° 3
Plan and prepare the required area for the integration of the various technical equipments
CERTIFICATION UNIT N° 4
Work at the insulation and tightness of the building envelope using environmental friendly materials
Before the next seminar in Austria (Vorarlberg) from the 17th to the 20th November 2009, the partners must develop the training modules and the certifying evaluations.
The Patronato de Formacion y Empleo of Coria (Spanish Partner) organised, during the seminar, a Technical day on Ecoconstruction for the Estrémadura Region. TEAM ECO-CONSTRUCTION project was presented.
